Before you apply

Our rehoming terms

So we can find every dog a safe, happy home, these are the terms we work to. Not sure if your dog fits? Call us free on 0800 002 5412 and we’ll give you an honest answer.

Dogs we can take

We only take small breeds.
We can’t take guard breeds or bull breeds.
We can’t take dogs who are aggressive or have serious behaviour problems.
We can’t take dogs with health problems.
We can’t take older dogs.

Before we take your dog

Your dog must be bathed, wormed and treated for fleas before we take them.

Rehoming fees

Rehoming fees must be paid upfront.
Rehoming fees are non-refundable.

Ownership

Once you’ve signed your dog over to us, your dog legally belongs to us.

Working together

We don’t work with anyone who is rude or disrespectful to our team.

Will you judge me for rehoming my dog?

Never. Life changes, and asking for help to find your dog the right new home is a responsible, caring choice. We’ll listen, explain your options and support you every step of the way.

How long does rehoming take?

It depends on your dog and your circumstances. Some dogs find their match within days, others take a little longer. Tell us your timeframe and we’ll be honest about what’s realistic.

Does my dog have to go into kennels?

Wherever possible, your dog stays with you until we’ve found the right match, so they move straight from one loving home to another. If you need help urgently, call us and we’ll talk through the options.

What information will you need?

Your dog’s age, health and vaccination history, microchip details, their personality, routine and any quirks. The more you can tell us, the better the match we can make.

Can I hear how my dog is getting on?

Of course. If you’d like an update once your dog has settled in, just let us know. Many new families are happy to share a photo or two.
