Northants Dog Re-homing Services is a family-run dog rehoming service based at Eastfield Close, Northampton, NN5 6JT. We are responsible for the personal information you share with us. You can contact us at info@northantsrehoming.co.uk or on 0800 002 5412.

When you fill in an adoption application, a rehoming form or a contact form, we collect the details you choose to give us, such as your name, contact details, postcode, information about your home and household, and information about your dog. Your answers are sent to us by email. This website has no customer accounts and doesn’t keep them in a database.

We only ask for what we need to find dogs the right homes.

We use your information to reply to you, to send you a confirmation that your form has arrived, to assess whether a dog and a home are a good match, to arrange meetings and home visits, and to support you after an adoption or rehoming.

Our lawful basis is your consent, which you give when you submit a form, and our legitimate interest in safeguarding the welfare of the dogs in our care.

We never sell your information. With your permission we may share relevant details between a dog’s previous owner and new family — for example a dog’s health records — to help the move go smoothly.

We use a small number of trusted providers who process data only on our behalf: Vercel hosts this website, Resend delivers the emails our forms send, and Zoho hosts our email inbox. Some of these providers may process data outside the UK, with appropriate safeguards in place.

We keep enquiries for as long as we need to respond and follow up. Records relating to an adoption or rehoming are kept for as long as is necessary to support the dog’s welfare, after which they are securely deleted.

This website does not use advertising or tracking cookies. To save you retyping, longer forms keep a draft of your answers in your own browser’s local storage until you send them; you can clear this at any time with the “Start afresh” link on the form or by clearing your browser data.

You have the right to ask for a copy of the information we hold about you, to ask us to correct or delete it, and to withdraw your consent at any time. Just get in touch using the details above.
